Introducing the 2025 NiB Conference: A Look at Our Themes

Image shows a photograph of Tower Bridge in London at dusk. The words '2025 NiB Annual Conference: Collaborating for Impact. London and Online 23 April 2025' are printed on the top right in white text on purple, yellow, and light blue stripes. In the bottom left, the text 'Creating a neuroinclusive future' is printed on a purple stripe.

Now that tickets for the 2025 NiB Conference are available, we’re excited to share a first look at the themes we will be exploring next year. The main theme is ‘Collaborating for Impact: Creating a Neurodiverse Future,’ with three sub-themes that build on the key takeaways from our 2024 Conference.

People, Culture, and Processes

Our first subtheme focuses on ‘People, Culture, and Processes’, exploring how to create a neuroinclusive workplace. Key areas of focus include:

  • Strategies for fostering inclusive workspaces for all
  • Best practices in building a culture where everyone can thrive
  • Resources to support every neurodivergent person

For a reminder of 2024’s top takeaways, watch the short video on our LinkedIn post here.

Empowerment and Leadership

The second subtheme is ‘Empowerment and Leadership’. This theme rethinks traditional leadership models by amplifying and empowering neurodivergent voices at every level of the organization. Key areas include:

  • Supporting the creativity and innovation of every employee
  • Encouraging neurodivergent employees to advocate for their own needs, such as preferred working styles and career development paths
  • Promoting inclusive leadership styles

To get more insights into this subtheme, watch our short video featuring Tristan Lavender, Writer & Global ERG Lead at Philips, and Dan Harris, NiB Founder and Chairperson, on our LinkedIn post here!

Looking Beyond the Label

Our third subtheme is ‘Looking Beyond the Label,’ which celebrates individuality to understand how to support neurodivergent people in the workplace. It highlights the importance of harnessing unique strengths for business benefits:

  • Viewing individuals beyond their neurodivergent label
  • Understanding diverse cognitive profiles
  • Focusing on strengths, not stereotypes
