Date of Appointment: May 2025
Current Role & Organisation: Self Employed at EM Coaching & Consulting – Consultant and Exec Coach (in training)
About
Professional Background
I’ve been fortunate to have a great career within the energy industry since graduating from university and in April 2025 took the leap to start working for myself consulting part time and training to become an executive coach. My career has brought me to most corners of the energy industry either through direct employment or management consulting opportunities and I’ve been lucky to work with amazing people both across the private and public sector. My recent career in management consulting enabled me to work both within my comfort zone of energy regulation and broadening my skillset to large scale corporate transformation (org design and operating models) and to government and regulator project and programme management working towards our vital net zero goals.
Connection to Neurodiversity
My connection to neurodiversity is highly personal as I’ve been on my own journey of later-life diagnosis over the past few years. As someone who never really felt like I fitted in (but was always great at blending in), the work that NiB is doing to support and empower neurodiverse employees is incredibly close to my heart.
Board/Trustee Role at NiB
I’m currently overseeing and supporting across our membership, partnerships and events alongside other trustees and the great volunteers but with a varied background and skillset getting stuck in wherever I’m needed.
Personal Interests:
I’m an avid traveller and try to get away a few months each winter when I can, the last one took me to Central America in 2024. I’ve recently taken up roller-skating and bouldering as hobbies to feed the inner child joy and also enjoy walking, nature, reading, spending time with my partner and close friends.
